A DCI Harry Grimm Novel

SEE NO EVIL

A corpse hanging over the crops. A team falling ill. Can he find a killer before someone decides murder is contagious?

DCI Harry Grimm hates getting sick. Fighting a terrible cold, the under-the-weather detective is already pushing his limits by going house hunting with his girlfriend. So, when he’s called out to investigate a body gruesomely displayed in a field as a scarecrow, he can’t see how his day can get any worse. That is, until another body turns up.

With the rest of his colleagues succumbing to sickness and one member of the team soon to leave for good, the ill inspector realises it’ll take more than a little rest and a hot toddy to get back on track and stop this countryside killer.

Can he keep a clear head and catch a murderer intent on writing their motive in blood?

See No Evil is the stunning seventeenth book in the DCI Harry Grimm Crime Thrillers series. If you like characters that feel like old friends, interwoven plots, and solid mysteries, then you’ll love David J. Gatward’s countryside conundrum.

About the Author

David was born in Bristol and grew up in the Cotswolds, Wensleydale, and Lincolnshire, before heading off to the Lake District to train in outdoor education.

Having failed to realise on reading the prospectus that this meant being in a school classroom and not just climbing mountains, he graduated and went straight into publishing.

He had his first book published when he was 18, and has written numerous books for children and adults, both under his own name and as a ghost writer. He even won the Leeds Children’s Book Award, which was quite the highlight.

David now lives in Somerset and is constantly amazed by how his life has turned out.
